英国哥伦比亚唱片公司(Columbia Records)，是现存的唱片公司中Zhui老的品牌，从1888年开始便开始制作唱片。1991年被Sony Music收购，成为旗下的子公司。1900年，哥伦比亚留声机公司(Columbia Graphophone Company)在伦敦成立了分公司英国哥伦比亚公司 (UK Columbia Graphophone Company)。1931年, 英国哥伦比亚公司 UK Columbia Graphophone Company 与 Emile Berliner 的英国留声机公司 UK Gramophone Company 合并，成立了“电子和音乐工业”(Electric and Musical Industries)，即 EMI 。Founded in 1888, Columbia is the oldest surviving brand name in pre-recorded sound, being the first record company to produce pre-recorded records as opposed to blank cylinders. Columbia Records went on to release records by an array of notable singers, instrumentalists and groups. From 1961 to 1990, its recordings were released outside the U.S. and Canada on the CBS Records label before adopting the Columbia name in most of the world. Today it is a premier subsidiary label of Sony Music Entertainment. Steve Barnett and Rick Rubin are the co-heads of Columbia Records.In the UK, Columbia is run by Mark Terry and Alison Donald.
