主显节大教堂始建于1693年，是伊尔库茨克第二古老的建筑，有的地图称它为“上帝产生大教堂”，这个名字也让人了解了这座教堂的美丽。漂亮的教堂白色亮洁，各层由长方形、圆柱形、三角锥形组合在一起，仿佛是积木搭起的精美玩具，旁边还有两的金色的洋葱头形状的穹顶衬托着，非常耀眼。女士入内参观需佩戴头巾。
